Australian Men’s Health Forum seeks applications for Treasurer
The Australian Men’s Health Forum, the peak body for men’s health in Australia, is seeking applications for the role of Treasurer to join its Board.
The position is voluntary, and the time commitment is around four hours a month, including several bi-monthly Board meetings and adequate time for helping the organisation prepare its budget and general financial management.
AMHF is at the centre of a broad network of individuals and organisations working to tackle the social factors that shape men and boys’ health.
Funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health since 2017, AMHF’s activity and strategic priorities are centred around its vision to create a healthier future for men and boys, and a healthier future for everyone.
The Treasurer will have financial business experience and be able to provide the Board with analysis and recommendations on the company's financial management.
Ideally, they will have held a similar position with charities and/or NGOs.
The initial Term is for a maximum of three years from February 2024-December 2026.
