The Australian Dads Network was launched and founded in 2016 as a Pilbara regional initiative to connect regional and remote and FIFO Dads together to remove isolation. When members moved out of the Pilbara the requested to remain in the group and so it transitioned to the Australian Dads Network. The group now supports, through connection, Dads from all areas of life. With over 2200 members across Australia we have a diverse group and level of lived experience that supports healthy conversations leading to positive change. Dads facing adversity in many areas are being supported and mentored by other Dads in a safe place and with the development of referral pathways supporting them even further. From family law issues, mental health support, personal development, alcohol and drug addiction, isolation, career challenges and everything in between, the ADN has and will continue to change the lives of Dads.
