Grit and Gratitude workshops for dads in the Pilbara

Liam Sorrell, the inspiration behind the Australian Dads Network, has started a new organisation called Grit and Gratitude.

Sorrell says Grit and Gratitude was “born out of a profound need to fortify the heart of regional communities in Western Australia and beyond.”

His mission is to “build community connections, strengthen mental resilience, and spark a wave of wellbeing that radiates from individuals to organisations. We're not just promoting wellbeing; we're activating it”.

Grit and Gratitude offers workplace and workshop presentations, coaching and counselling, and breathwork coaching.

On May 26, 27, and June 14, Grit and Gratitude will offer free mental health sessions for dads before and during Men’s Health Week 2024.

The two-hour sessions at Karratha Community House will enable dads to explore strategies for building connection, resilience, self-care, stress management, and emotional strength in their parenting journey.

Liam won the Australian Men's Health Forum Health Award in 2021 for the Best Content Creator/Community Builder.

Following his success Callum MacPherson talked to Liam about the vision, growth and on-going motivation to support more than 2000 fathers across Australia.
