The Australian Men’s Health Forum actively supports Men’s Health Week in partnership with the Centre for Male Health at the Western Sydney University. This year Men's Health Week runs from 15-21 June 2026.

The National Men’s Health Gathering is organised by the Australian Men’s Health Forum, the peak body for men’s health in Australia. After a gap of several years due to the COVID-19 lockdowns, the Gathering was held online. In 2025, leading voices from the men's health sector gathered at the Brisbane Showgrounds for the 30th anniversary of the Gathering, themed "Moving Men's Health Forward." The event also included the 10th Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Male Health Convention. AMHF will continue to host these Gatherings. AMHF celebrates the amazing work that is being done to advance men’s health in Australia through the national Men’s Health Awards. Each year we seek nominations across a variety of categories, with national winners selected by a judging panel from the Australian Men’s Health Forum and state/territory winners chosen by a People’s Choice vote.

International Men’s Day takes place on 19 November each year and is celebrated in around 80 countries worldwide. The Australian Men’s Health Forum hosts the IMD website and promotes IMD events as well as providing tools and resources for everyone to get involved, including the Know Your Man Facts presentation, complete with speaker notes and interactive quizzes. Find out how you can get involved.

As the peak body for men’s health in Australia, AMHF is at the centre of a broad network of individuals and organisations working together to tackle the social factors that shape men and boys’ health.
By joining AMHF as a member, you can support our work to get Australia talking about men’s health issues and help us create a healthier future for men and boys.
