Men’s Health Connected is a free week-long gathering for everyone who’s committed to improving the lives and health of men and boys in Australia. In 2020 and 2021 the gathering was held online. In 2022, Men’s Health Connected took place from May 16-20. In 2023, Men's Health Connected will run as a series of webinars from May-June on the themes of Male Suicide, Social Connection and Men's Health, and Getting Men Moving.
AMHF celebrates the amazing work that is being done to advance men’s health in Australia through the national Men’s Health Awards. Each year we seek nominations across a variety of categories, with national winners selected by a judging panel from the Australian Men’s Health Forum and state/territory winners chosen by a People’s Choice vote. In 2023, the Men's Health Awards will take place at the end of the year.
International Men’s Day takes place on November 19 each year and is celebrated in around 80 countries worldwide. The Australian Men’s Health Forum hosts the IMD website and promotes IMD events as well as providing tools and resources for everyone to get involved, including the Know Your Man Facts presentation, complete with speaker notes and interactive quizzes. Find out how you can get involved.
