Mount Isa cop becomes a men's health champion

A Mount Isa cop who survived prostate cancer has become a men's health champion at work and in his local community.

Sergeant Steve Lindsey from the Mount Isa District Dog Squad recently gave a men's health talk to colleagues in Cloncurry as part of Queensland Police Service's (QPS) "Our People Matter" strategy which focuses on the health, safety and well being QPS staff and their families.

Sergeant Lindsey will also be manning a men’s health information booth at the 2019 Mount Isa Mines Rodeo and will be accompanied by a prostate cancer specialist nurse.
