Movember increases funds to existing men’s health initiatives

Movember has allocated AUD$10.38m over the next two years to support the scaling of existing community and workplace men’s health initiatives across Australia, Canada, the UK and Ireland.

A total of 35 initiatives will be funded, up to eight of them in Australia, valued between 250k and 500k each (total funds for Australia are $2m).

Movember says they want to support evidence-based initiatives that are delivering the greatest impact, “with a focus on prevention and early intervention programs.”

The ‘Scaling What Works in Community and Workplace’ program aims to assist partners to scale their each and impact, and to fast track improvements in the mental health and wellbeing of boys and men.

Applications for this next round of Movember funding close on January 31, 2022.
