Scholarships for Indigenous Male Health Workers

The Australian Men's Health Forum is offering twenty 20 scholarship places worth $625 each to Male Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Workers wanting to attend the 9th National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Male Health Convention, which takes place during the National Men's Health Gathering in Parramatta on 12th and 13th November, 2018. The scholarships will provide free entry to the Convention. 

 

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Applicants must be an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander male, who is working in male a health or related area.
  2. Applicants must be able to fully participate in the convention and be able to take information and share it with their respective community. 
  3. Will be able to provide an oral presentation if there is an emergency cancellation. 
  4. Will be available to chair or act as a scribe to report on concurrent sessions or other duties during the Gathering.

To apply, applicants must download and complete a scholarship application form and email it to Gary Bryant at [email protected] by 5pm on Friday, 31st August, 2018.
