Testing different approaches to working with dads

The Murdoch Children’s Research Institute is undertaking research around regional Victoria that compares different approaches to working with new fathers.

One study group will join a six-week in-person dads group discussing topics related to fatherhood such as managing work and family, coping with stress and strategies for managing change. The Working Out Dads group will also include a 30-minute group personal training session.

Talking About Being A Dad group members will talk to a health professional from Tweddle Child & Family Health Service over the phone about what it is like to be a dad, health and wellbeing and what resources are available for fathers.

Dads are being recruited across Wyndham, Moreland, Bendigo and Geelong  throughout 2022.
