The theme for the show and subject for the artists is the first pillar of International Men’s Day, ‘Celebrating Positive Male Role Models’.

The artwork must be family-friendly and works will be judged by the ability of the work to communicate the theme and the artwork artistic style / work itself.

All submitted entries will be displayed at the Mackay Art Society from 20 -25 Aug 22 (each day from 10am-4pm), with a final selection being shown at the Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens Lagoons Café Gallery from 31 Aug 22 – 01 Oct 22.

International Men's Day takes place on November 19 each year. 

Shed Happens Mackay are hosting the Art Show with over $3000 in prize money on offer. The opening night is on August 19.
