Run with us for men’s health in 2021

The Australian Men’s Health Forum is on the hunt for 10 people to form a marathon running team to take part in the Gold Coast Marathon this July.

It doesn’t matter if you a seasoned runner or thinking of taking on your first running challenge, if you are prepared to run #4MensHealth and raise a few dollars in the process, we want to hear from you.

The men’s health running team is being brought together by our CEO, Glen Poole, who is keen to build a culture of fundraising to support the important work of Australia’s peak body for men’s health.

Glen marked his 50th birthday in 2019 by running the Melbourne Marathon for AMHF and raised further funds in 2020 by completing his first triathlon.

This year, he’s looking for 10 men and women to join him at the Gold Coast Marathon (3rd and 4th July), where you have a choice of taking part in several events ranging from a 5km Fun Run right up to the full 42.2km marathon.

The Gold Coast Marathon is known for its flat, fast and scenic course located alongside the city’s surf beaches and the stunning Broadwater, with ideal winter running conditions featuring low humidity, little wind and mild temperatures. It’s little wonder that around 60% of runners achieve a personal best time each year.

It’s a world class international marathon that attracts people of all ages and abilities from around the world across eight races including the Marathon, the Wheelchair Marathon, the Half Marathon, Southern 10km Run, a Wheelchair 10km and a 5km Fun Run.

If you want to run with us #4MensHealth in 2021 or have other fundraising ideas, please send us a message via this online form.
