Centre for Men and Families
The Centre for Men and Families Australia exists to create a safe community for men to connect, learn, be loved and belong. At the heart of its work is its Men’s Rites of Passage (MROP) retreat that builds on classic patterns of male initiation through simple and moving rituals and teaching. Based in Queensland, the Centre for Men and Families runs events through the year and hosts more than 20 men's circles around Australia.

checkyourtackle
"checkyourtackle” is dedicated to raising awareness of male-orientated cancers, particularly penile cancer, testicular cancer and breast cancer in men. The aim of checkyourtackle is to educate, inform and create a sense of community for men and their partners who have been touched by these cancers. The initiative was founded by Wayne Earle and inspired by his first-hand experience with penile cancer.

Circle of Men
The Circle of Men was created to provide mateship to men in aged care facilities. The group has more than 50 volunteers, mostly older men themselves, who facilitate weekly meetings throughout Brisbane and Redland City. Their aim is to create an environment for the wellbeing and happiness of men in aged care facilities who too often find themselves alone and isolated at this most vulnerable stage of life.

Counselling Men Project
The Counselling Men Project provides men with free counselling, with a specific focus on counselling for men at risk of violence, homelessness and suicide at no cost to them. Support is provided through weekly peer support groups, either online or face-to-face across Australia.

DIY DADS
DIY Dads was created by Hobart City Mission in response to a desperate need for supported accommodation, targeted at single fathers at risk of being separated from their children, either through the children being placed in State Care or in the mother’s full-time custody. DIY Dads provides housing for dads with either full or part time care of their children for up to two years and provides them with life and parent skill training, advocacy and self-guidance to help men transition to independent living.

Every Man Australia
