Dads' opinions wanted - sex ed dads survey

Dads with children aged between three and 12 are invited to take part in a new research study exploring the role fathers play in sexuality education.

The study, conducted by Katy Thomas at the University of Tasmania as part of her PhD, aims to explore fathers’ experiences, intentions and aspirations as sexuality educators, and to find out what resources and supports fathers would find useful to support them in this role.

The anonymous online survey takes 15-20 minutes to complete and participants must be over 20.

Explains Katy:

"The survey will ask you for your opinions and experiences as a father of young children, and your involvement in discussing child-sexuality related issues such as growth and development, puberty, sex, respectful relationships, personal hygiene, body parts, and keeping emotionally and physically safe."
