Help strengthen men's health in Australia - donate today
AMHF exists to support those on the frontline of men’s health: community groups, service providers, practitioners, researchers and advocates who work with men and boys every day.
Donations allow AMHF to represent this diverse network nationally — ensuring that policy, programs and public conversations are grounded in real experience. In 2025, AMHF moved decisively from planning to delivery. With your support, we strengthened national connection across the men’s health sector, amplified lived experience, and delivered practical tools that are being used in communities, workplaces and services nationwide.
This year, many organisations and individuals used AMHF resources during Men’s Health Week and International Men’s Day. Tools such as Know Your Man Facts and Reaching Men male suicide prevention training put valuable information into the hands of men's health advocates, as well as increasing health literacy among men. These resources remain free and accessible.
In 2025, the National Men’s Health Gathering returned in person for the first time since COVID, marking its 30th anniversary. Bringing together community leaders, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, practitioners, researchers and policymakers, the Gathering restored national momentum and collaboration in a sector that had been fragmented by years of disruption. Events like this are critical for sharing what works, strengthening partnerships and accelerating impact.
AMHF also continued to build the capability of the workforce through webinars, training and practical guidance on what works when engaging men and boys.
At the same time, AMHF’s advocacy has remained firmly grounded in lived experience. Insights from members directly informed national policy submissions and the organisation’s Election 2025 platform, calling for stronger action on male suicide prevention, better transparency in public funding, and increased investment in community-led connection before crisis.
This year also reminded us of the importance of legacy. Following the passing of Greg Millan — a founding leader in Australia’s men’s health movement — AMHF established the Greg Millan Lifetime Achievement Award to honour those whose long-term, practical leadership has strengthened men’s health across generations.
AMHF is a small, lean organisation, but its reach is national. With modest resources, it continues to lead, connect and strengthen the men’s health sector — ensuring men and boys are not left behind in health reform, prevention efforts or community support.
By donating today, you are helping AMHF continue this work: strengthening the systems that help men and boys live healthier lives.
Every contribution matters. Together, we can build a stronger future for men’s health in Australia.
