Parents Beyond Breakup appoints four new Directors

National Suicide Prevention Charity Parents Beyond Breakup Ltd has announced the appointment of four new Directors to the Board on the back of the organisation’s recent Future Directions Strategy Workshop.

Joining the Board is Rob Kennaugh, Kim Goodair, Gavin Hudson and Brendan Root.

This announcement comes at an exciting time for the organisation as it expands its services into all States and Territories on the back of Federal funding under the National Suicide Prevention and Leadership program.

“PBB is poised on the cusp of massive expansion of our services to all parents across Australia, and having the commitment and expertise of our new directors augmenting our already strong Board allows us the impetus to grow our support for separating parents exponentially,” said PBB CEO Gillian Hunt, who is also the President of the Australian Men's Health Forum.

“I am encouraged and delighted by the strength of the new directors joining our existing board of focussed and experienced suicide prevention professionals,” said PBB Chairman Brendan Blomeley.

Rob Kennaugh, GAICD is an experienced Non-Executive Director having worked across the health, finance, education and NFP sectors. His executive leadership positions include leading major commercial businesses at several national ASX listed organisation’s including Telstra Corporation, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and Origin Energy.

Gavin Hudson, GAICD, MBA brings more than 30 years business leadership including 14 years of executive management within the home and community care sector (aged care, disability and health).  He is passionate about children having the best possible relationships with both their parents and the well-being of all family members following separation.

Kim Goodair FCPA, FIML, GAICD is a Finance and Management professional with over 20 years’ experience, holding executive roles across the commercial, government and NFP sectors, and is a mum with a Lived Experience of family separation. 

Brendan Root, GAICD, MBA is an Industrial and Logistics Property professional with expertise in Financial Management, Governance and large-scale project management. He is deeply committed to the advancement of separated parents and children’s wellbeing having Lived Experience of family breakdown. 

AMHF CEO Glen Poole is also a PBB Board Member.
