Log on for a conversation about men that matters

Blokepedia – a project that provides opportunities for men to talk about issues and topics that impact their lives – is running one of its popular Conversations That Matter events during Men’s Health Week, 15-21 June.

On Wednesday 17 June @ 7.30pm Blokepedia will hold an online version of its popular live events with speakers Dr. John Davis, psychologist Shane Senituli, NRL’s Joel Thompson and men’s health advocated and lived experience speaker, Justin Geange.

The panel will  chat about the important roles men play within their communities, and some of the health challenges they face. They’ll also uncover some tools and strategies to improve our social, emotional and physical wellbeing.

Blokepedia has gone from strength-to-strength since launching as a blog site in 2017, with founder Josh Quarmby being shortlisted for a 2020 Men’s Health Award in the Local Men’s Health Hero category.

Josh now runs Blokepedia in partnership with co-Director, Dr Clive Williams.

Together they share a passion for improving the lives of Australian men and combine their expertise in clinical psychology, training facilitation, HR consultation and community engagement.

This week’s Conversations That Matter event is supported by Kingston East Neighbourhood Group and Logan City Council.
