Mens Talk is a men’s mental health charity based in Western Australia which runs dedicated Men’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Hubs located in Scarborough and Busselton. Recently it launched a new mobile mental wellbeing service – Monty the Man Van – providing men in different communities a safe space to connect, talk, and access mental health resources. Mens Talk has co-hosted the WA Men’s Mental Wellbeing Conference and WA Men’s Wellbeing Awards since 2023.
Menslink has been supporting young men in the Canberra region for over 20 years with free counselling, volunteer mentoring, and education programs. In that time they’ve built great relationships with schools, local businesses, community groups and the thousands of young men they’ve worked with. Across the many programs Menslink runs, their goal is to help young blokes reach their full potential.
Men in the Hood is a WA-based initiative designed to support men's mental, emotional, and physical well-being through a series of structured group sessions and workshops. Developed in partnership with Justin Lewis (founder of Mentall life coaching) and Victoria Park Community Centre, the program responds to the growing recognition of the pressures men face in balancing work, family and health, and provides a mix of life skills, wellbeing advice, relationship skills and social connection.
Mentoring Men provides free, one-to-one life mentoring for men across Australia delivered by trained male mentors with their own lived experience of facing life’s challenges. The Mentoring Men model is designed to offer early, non-clinical intervention and built to meet men where they’re at - “before things go sideways”. Mentoring Men recently launched a new “Meet a Mate” campaign in partnership with The Man Walk.
Mindful Men provides counselling, social work and occupational therapy services that specialise in working with men. It aims to make its services affordable and accessible to all men providing subsidised support through mental health treatment plans, NDIS and other routes. Mindful Men has also produced more than 100 episodes of its podcast, providing a free resource to help guide men towards a more mindful way of living. Based in the Sunshine Coast, Mindful Men also offers online support services.
MISA, the Men's Information and Support Service in Brisbane, provides a range of specialised counselling and support services for men and their families. Their team of experienced counsellors helps men of different backgrounds, ages, and situations to gain management of their situational crisis, and build new direction into their lives. Their motto is "a better life for you, your partner, your family and the community".
Mongrels Men is a men’s health charity that began on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, providing regular movement and exercise-based activities for men. It now operates across around 15 locations in New South Wales and Queensland and is focused on preventing, reducing and controlling the occurrence and impact of suicide and mental health illnesses and disorders impacting Australian men.
Mr Perfect is a community organisation connecting men across Australia over a relaxed free BBQ to chat about all things life. Running in more than 30 locations around Australia, they provide quality online resources for the good of men’s mental health.
Murrumbidgee Men's Group connects men from different walks of life with other like-minded men in a supportive and non-judgemental environment. Founded by Rhys Cummins in Wagga Wagga (NSW), the group is advocating for funding to open a men’s wellness centre to provide holistic support for me in the area.
No One Left Behind is the organisation behind the International Men’s Day (IMD) Forum in Darwin, which brings together local men, businesses, services and leaders in men’s health for this popular annual event. This year founder Bec Forrest and her team have expanded their IMD offering to include a second forum in Canberra.
